Our Doctors

Dr. Kevin Sheren and Dr. Madeline Shakin are a husband and wife dental team providing all phases of general dentistry in a professional and caring environment. Along with our associate, Dr. Jeslin Thomas, their goal is to provide excellent service to our patients with the highest quality clinical care.

Kevin Sheren, DDS

Doctor Kevin Sheren

Dr. Sheren is a graduate of SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, Dr. Sheren completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Stony Brook. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Society, the Suffolk County Dental Society, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Madeline Shakin, DDS

Dr. Shakin is a graduate of SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. After a one year hospital Residency program at St. Charles Hospital, she was accepted into a Geriatric Fellowship program at the University of California. Upon returning to New York, she became Clinical Assistant Professor at the Stony Brook Dental School where she taught and lectured for ten years while maintaining her private practice. Dr. Shakin is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society and Suffolk County Dental Society.

Jeslin Thomas, DMD

Doctor Jeslin Thomas

Dr. Thomas is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, Dr. Thomas completed a one year General Practice Residency at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and the Suffolk County Dental Society.

Dr. Thomas is married, and has a daughter. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.

Stacy Reisfeld, DDS

Dr Reisfeld is a graduate of SUNY Stony Brook, School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, Dr. Reisfeld completed a two year post graduate residency in Periodontics at The Medical of College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University. She has been a clinical attending at Stony Brook Dental School for 20 years and a clinical attending at Southampton Hospital for 15 years, while maintaining her private practice. In addition to periodontal and implant surgery, she is certified in laser hard and soft tissue surgery. Dr Reisfeld is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society, New York County Dental Society, Suffolk County Dental Society, American Academy of Periodontics, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Northeast Society of Periodontics, and the American Academy of Oral Medicine.

Stephanie Tran, DDS

Stephanie Tran, DDS

Dr. Stephanie Tran completed her undergraduate studies at The University of The Pacific in Stockton, California. She then went on to receive her D.D.S. at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. Dr. Tran then completed her residency at SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital on Long Island, New York.

Dr. Tran is extremely active in in the community. She takes part in many volunteer programs such as Stand Up For The Homeless and Student Community Outreach for The Public Education. During her time in Tennesse, Dr. Tran became the Chief Resident in her post-graduate Endodontics residency. Dr. Tran believes that continuing education is the key to success and growth and she is persistent in the courses that she takes. She is active in the Port Jefferson Study Club as well as the Smithtown Study club. Dr. Tran is fluent in Vietnamese and French.

Between volunteering, working and continuing education courses, Dr. Tran uses her downtime to cook, go on hikes, do crafts, read and travel.
